Taipei, November 24, 2025 — The four-day 2025 Taiwan Jewellery & Gem Fair concluded successfully at the Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1. This year’s fair brought together 150 quality exhibitors from 12 countries and regions, attracting more than 8,000 professional buyers and industry visitors. The strong turnout highlights the robust recovery of Taiwan’s jewellery market and its growing international visibility.

Record International Participation & Strong Buyer Activity
Over the four-day fair, more than 500 business matchmaking sessions were facilitated, generating an estimated NT$200 million in projected business opportunities. Japan remained the largest source of overseas buyers, with department stores, wholesalers, agents, and designers showing particularly strong interest in Taiwan’s coloured gemstones and original design brands.
In addition, buyer attendance from Thailand, Vietnam, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States continued to grow, reflecting the global market’s increasing recognition of Taiwan’s stable manufacturing quality, transparency, and design capability.
Exhibitors reported a significant increase in buying momentum this year, with particularly strong performance in the following sectors:
- Coloured Gemstones: Demand surged for chrysocolla chalcedony, emeralds, Paraiba tourmalines, and other high-value stones.
- Gold Jewellery: Taiwan’s refined goldsmithing craftsmanship continued to attract strong interest from overseas buyers.
- Original Designer Brands: Unique designer creations drew the attention of collectors and high-end buyers.
- Jewellery Components & Manufacturing Supply Chain: Suppliers offering comprehensive production services saw increased inquiries from international OEM/ODM clients.
Several exhibitors indicated that discussions may lead to long-term partnerships, with follow-up factory visits and procurement evaluations already underway.

Industry Events Lead Market Trends and Attract Strong Attention to Key Topics
Throughout the exhibition, a series of industry forums, technical seminars, and brand presentations drew nearly 300 participants. The programmes focused on critical topics including market transformation, brand elevation, and innovations in craftsmanship and technology.
